I think I might try for a card a day, but bending the rules a bit. I have a packet of watercolor postcards and I might use them rather than index cards. Or maybe a mix of the two.
Oh this is really great, Kortney! I'm definitely going to do this with my son over the summer. He's turning 5 in a couple weeks, he loves arts/crafts projects, and I think he'll enjoy the low-stakes index card idea Thanks for sharing.
This is so lovely! Your posts always inspire me to keep on.
Oh this makes me all kinds of happy 💙
Love this! My friends and I have done a similar thing but never with one word-- love the constraint of that! These images brought me joy!
Oh I love the idea of including friends! So glad to have you reading along here, Kelli. Peace keep you.
Thanks for the inspiration. I'm gonna try this.
Oh this makes me all kinds of happy, MK! I'd love to see any cards that you make.
Thinking they should be “wild cards.”
Oh that feels powerful and just right!
Fun to do with grandchildren.
Oh what a great idea! Have a wonderful summer creating together, Pam!

My husband is working on 4x4 watercolor paper. Rules are only guidelines to help you get the work done!

Low stakes = More fun! There are lots more of our cards over the years here: https://www.kortneygarrison.com/?s=ICAD
These are both beautiful and fun!
Thank you so much, Lev!
This post added sunshine to an already sunny day, and I appreciate your time putting the project together and sharing it.
